Guil graduated from the University of Manitoba with a Bachelor of Science degree. He joined Performa Wealth Management in 1996 and started his financial services career in the mutual fund and life insurance industry. In 1999, Guil joined the Credit Union movement in affiliation with Member Plus (a division of Credential Financial Inc.) whereby offering financial planning services, investment advice and estate planning services primarily to Caisse Saint-Boniface members. In 2003, upon the creation of C Finance, his many services were amalgamated into this new subsidiary of Caisse Saint-Boniface.

Guil has completed the Canadian Securities Course, received his financial planning certificate in 2003 and also received his Certified Financial Planner (CFP^®) designation in this same year. His primary areas of expertise include portfolio allocation strategies, creating in-depth financial plans, tax efficient investments and business group benefit plans and pensions. Guil is our full service advisor through Credential Securities Inc. and can sell the vast majority of investment vehicles available to the Canadian public. He is also licensed with the Insurance Council of Manitoba and provides life, disability and critical illness insurance for individuals and companies alike.

He is a long standing board member of the Chiropractic Association of Manitoba Complaints Committee. Guil and his wife, Sheila, have been married for 15 years and have a son.
