Trudeau CFP, B.Sc.(agribusiness), PFP Planificateur financier / directeur
Martin graduated from the University of Manitoba with a Bachelor of Science in Agribusiness and economics. He began his financial services career as a Commercial Account Manager with La Caisse Saint-Boniface as well as Farm Credit Canada. In these positions, Mr. Trudeau created various financing proposals and packages to help various sized businesses structure their finances, prepare business plans and obtain credit facilities. In 2007, Martin was promoted to the Caisse’s senior management team in the role of Director of Branch Services where he oversaw its retail banking and wealth management services, including C Finance. Although Martin’s main role is centered towards management, he continues to advise clients in the area of wealth management and financial planning. Given his prior experience and education, he is well versed in many aspects of business and enjoys consulting with businesses, farms and professionals.
Martin has completed the Canadian Securities Course, received his financial planning certificate in 2003 and also received his Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation in the same year.
He is currently an Executive Board Member of the Saint-Boniface Chamber of Commerce, as well as a past Board Member of the Winnipeg Chamber of Commerce. He and his wife Jennifer have two daughters and reside in Ile-des-Chênes.
